Christian Machens
Short Bio: After studying physics in Tübingen, Stony Brook, and Berlin, I did my thesis work in computational neuroscience with Andreas Herz at the Humboldt-University in Berlin. I then moved to the Cold Spring Harbor Laboratories where I worked with Tony Zador and Carlos Brody. After a brief stint as a junior research group leader at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University in Munich during the year 2006/2007, I finally moved to the Ecole normale supérieure where I continue to lead my own lab and joined the Group for Neural Theory.
