Our group is part of the Laboratoire de Neurosciences Cognitives (LNC, INSERM Unité 960) within the Laboratoire Départment d'Etudes Cognitives (DEC) at the Ecole Normale Supérieure in Paris.

The GNT has been hosted by the Collège de France from 2005 till 2008. During this time, the Collège de France provided us an ideal environment for pursuing our research.

The Group for Neural Theory is collaborating closely with the Gatsby Unit, e.g. on probabilistic integration of information in neural networks.

Collaborating with the lab of Neurophysiology in Perception and Movement, we investigate the principles of sensorimotor integration in both, theory and experiments.

Together with the Theoretical Neurophysics group and department of Biology at the university of Bremen, we collaborate on models on probabilistic contour integration and on understanding the impact of attention on the neural representation of complex stimuli.
